The 1st Infantry Division, or the "Big Red One" after its shoulder patch, is a United States Army infantry division, and the oldest division in the United States Army. The 1st Infantry Division participates in every European campaign in World War II, including those in the North African Campaign. It appears in Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty: WWII.

Call of Duty: Finest HourEdit

In the American campaign of Call of Duty: Finest Hour, the player takes control of Lieutenant Chuck Walker of Able Company. The campaign takes place during the Western Front of World War II.

Call of Duty 2: Big Red OneEdit

In Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, the player takes control of Sgt. Roland Roger of the 1st Infantry Division, 16th Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Fox Company. The game allows the player to experience every major campaign the division was involved in during World War II.

Call of Duty: WWII Edit

In Call of Duty: WWII, the player takes control of Ronald "Red" Daniels, a Private (Later promoted to Corporal)  in the United States Army, 1st Infantry Division. The game takes place during the Allied invasion of Europe in 1944 and 1945, but also mentions events from 1940-1943.
